Spensio is designed as a calm, privacy‑respecting personal finance companion. This page explains how the Spensio app handles your data when you use it on your iPhone or iPad.
1. What Spensio Is
Spensio is a personal finance dashboard that helps you track expenses, subscriptions, and loans. It stores your financial records privately on your devices and, if you enable it, synchronizes them across your Apple devices using iCloud.
2. Data We Store
The information you enter into Spensio stays tied to your Apple ID and devices. Examples include:
- Expenses, income entries, categories, tags, and notes you create.
- Subscription details such as plan name, amount, billing cycle, and renewal dates.
- Loan details such as principal, interest rate, EMI schedule, and repayment history.
- Budgets, goals, and configuration preferences inside the app.
3. On‑Device Intelligence & Voice
If you use voice input or AI‑powered features, Spensio relies on the capabilities provided by your device and Apple’s on‑device intelligence where available. The app itself does not send your transaction content to external servers that we control for model training or profiling.
4. iCloud Sync
You can optionally enable iCloud synchronization so that your data appears on multiple Apple devices you own. When enabled:
- Your data is stored in your private iCloud container associated with your Apple ID.
- Apple’s infrastructure is used solely to keep your Spensio data in sync.
- We do not have direct access to your personal iCloud account or contents.
5. Analytics & Crash Reports
Spensio may use basic, privacy‑friendly diagnostics to understand crashes or major issues, for example through Apple’s built‑in crash reporting. These reports are aggregated and do not include your individual transaction details.
6. Third‑Party Services
Spensio does not include in‑app third‑party advertising SDKs or marketing trackers that profile your financial behavior. If this ever changes in the future, this policy will be updated and the app will provide clear controls.
7. How Long We Keep Data
Your data is kept for as long as it remains in the app or in your iCloud account. You can:
- Delete individual entries, subscriptions, or loans at any time inside the app.
- Remove the app from your devices to delete the local copy of your data.
- Disable iCloud for Spensio from your Apple ID settings if you no longer want sync.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your region, you may have additional rights regarding access, correction, or deletion of your data. Because Spensio stores data primarily on your devices and in your own iCloud account, most of these controls are directly in your hands:
- You can review and edit records from inside the app.
- You can remove the app to erase local data.
- You can contact us if you have questions about how Spensio handles information.
9. Children
Spensio is intended for adults managing their own finances. It is not designed to collect information from children under the age that requires parental consent in your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may highlight changes in the app release notes.
